NOTE:
• Do not spill brake fluid on the vehicle; it m a y damage the paint; if brake fluid gets on the paint, wash it off
i m m e d i a t e l y w i t h water.
• Be careful not to damage or d e f o r m the brake lines during removal and installation.
• To prevent the brake fluid f r o m f l o w i n g , plug and cover the hose ends and joints w i t h a shop t o w e l or equivalent
material.
Removal
1. Push in on the lock (A), then pull d o w n the lever (B) of the ABS/TCS control unit 47P connector (C), and the
connector disconnects itself.

To left-rear

To right-front
FLARE NUT
15 N-m (1.5 kgf m, 11 Ibf ft)
To master cylinder
6 mm BOLT
9.8 N m (1.0 kgf m, 7.2 Ibfft)
6 mm BOLT
9.8 N m (1.0 kgf m, 7.2 Ibf ft)
HEX BOLT
9.8 N m (1.0 kgf-m, 7.2 Ibf ft)
2. Disconnect the six brake lines f r o m the ABS/TCS modulator-control unit (D).
3. Remove the three 6 m m bolts (E).
4. Remove the ABS/TCS modulator-control unit and bracket (F).
5. Remove the t w o 6 m m bolts and hex bolt, then remove the bracket.
