NOTE: Use the appropriate tool f r o m the KTC t r i m tool
set to avoid damage w h e n prying c o m p o n e n t s .
1. Using a t r i m t o o l , detach the hooks (A) by prying
the front side cap (B), then remove it f r o m the front
door sill t r i m (C), and remove the opener lock
cylinder (D).

9.8 N m
(1.0 k g f m , 7.2 Ibf-ft)
2. Remove the bolt (E).
3. Remove the front door sill t r i m (see page 20-45).
4. Remove the screw, then remove the trunk lid
opener/fuel fill door opener (A) f r o m the front door
sill t r i m (B).
Fastener Location
• : S c r e w , 1
5. Install the opener in the reverse order of r e m o v a l ,
and note these items:
• Make sure the opener cable is connected
properly.
• Make sure the trunk lid and fuel fill door open
properly and lock securely.
