M e m o r i z i n g t h e T o r q u e S e n s o r N e u t r a l P o s i t i o n
The torque sensor neutral position must be memorized
whenever the gearbox is removed or installed, or w h e n
the torque sensor or EPS control unit is replaced. Note
that the torque sensor neutral position is not affected
w h e n erasing the DTC.
1. W i t h the ignition switch OFF, connect the HDS to
the data link connector (DLC) (A) located under the
dash on the driver's side of the vehicle.
2. Turn the ignition switch ON (II), then memorize the
torque sensor neutral position by f o l l o w i n g the
screen p r o m p t s on the HDS.
