NOTE:
• Use the appropriate tool f r o m the KTC t r i m tool set to avoid damage w h e n prying c o m p o n e n t s .
• Be careful not to pry too far or you may bend the m o l d i n g .
• Put on gloves to protect y o u r hands.
1. Prepare to release the m o l d i n g clips f r o m inside the vehicle.
• To remove the front door m o l d i n g , remove the front door panel (see page 20-7) and plastic cover.
• To remove the rear door m o l d i n g , remove the rear door panel (see page 20-15) and plastic cover.
2. Release the clips (A) and gently pry the front door m o l d i n g (B) or rear door m o l d i n g (C) away f r o m the door w h i l e
separating the adhesive tape (D, E, F).
Adhesive tape (D): Thickness 1.2 mm (0.047 in.), Width 18 mm (0.71 in.)
Adhesive tape (E): Thickness 1.2 mm (0.047 in.)

Width 5 mm (0.2 in.)
Adhesive tape (F): Thickness 0.4 mm (0.016 in.), Width 5 mm (0.2 in.)
Fastener Locations
3. Install the moldings in the reverse order of removal, and replace any d a m a g e d clips and adhesive tape.
