Resetting the power window
W i t h o u t t h e HDS
1. Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
2. M o v e the driver's w i n d o w all the w a y d o w n by using the driver's w i n d o w DOWN switch.
3. Open the driver's door.
NOTE: steps 4—7 must be done w i t h i n 5 seconds of each other.

4. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
5. Push and hold the driver's w i n d o w DOWN switch.
6. Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
7. Release the driver's w i n d o w DOWN switch.
8. Repeat steps 4—7 three m o r e times.
9. Wait 1 second.
10. Confirm that AUTO UP and A U T O DOWN do not work. If AUTO UP and DOWN w o r k , go back to step 1.
1 1 . Move the driver's w i n d o w all the w a y d o w n by holding the driver's w i n d o w DOWN switch to the A U T O DOWN
position.
12. Pull up and hold the driver's w i n d o w UP switch to the AUTO UP position until the w i n d o w reaches the fully closed
position, then continue to hold the switch for 1 second.
13. Confirm that the power w i n d o w master switch is reset by using the driver's w i n d o w AUTO UP and DOWN
function.
If the w i n d o w still does not w o r k in A U T O , repeat the procedure several t i m e s , paying close attention to the 5
second time limit between steps. If it still does not w o r k , go to B-CAN System Diagnosis Test M o d e A (see page
22-84).
