Pedal Height
1. Turn the brake pedal position switch (A)
counterclockwise, and pull it back until it is no
longer touching the brake pedal.

2. Disconnect idle stop switch connector (B).
3. Turn the idle stop switch counterclockwise, and
pull it back until it is no longer t o u c h i n g the brake
pedal.
4. Lift up the carpet. At the insulator cutout, measure
the pedal height (C) f r o m the left side of the pedal
pad (D).
Standard pedal height (with carpet removed):
177 mm (6 31/32 in.)
5. Loosen t h e pushrod locknut (A), and screw the
pushrod in or out w i t h pliers until the standard
pedal height f r o m the floor is reached. After
adjustment, tighten the locknut firmly. Do not
adjust the pedal height w i t h the pushrod pressed.
Lower the pedal
