Climate Control
R e c i r c u l a t i o n C o n t r o l M o t o r C i r c u i t T r o u b l e s h o o t i n g
5. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
1. Check the No. 30 (7.5 A) fuse in the under-dash
fuse/relay box.
Is the fuse
OK?
Y E S — G o t o step 2.
NO—Replace the fuse, and r e c h e c k . •
2. Disconnect the recirculation control motor 7P
connector.
3. Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
4. Measure the voltage between the recirculation
control motor 7P connector t e r m i n a l No. 1 and
body ground.
RECIRCULATION C O N T R O L MOTOR 7P C O N N E C T O R
Wire side of f e m a l e t e r m i n a l s
Is there battery
voltage?
Y E S — G o t o step 5.
NO—Repair open in the w i r e between the No. 30
fuse in the under-dash fuse/relay box and the
recirculation control m o t o r . •
6. Test the recirculation control motor (see page
21-84).
Is the recirculation
control
motor
OK?
Y E S — G o t o step 7.
NO—Replace the recirculation control m o t o r
(see page 21-85), or repair the recirculation control
linkage or doors. •
7. Disconnect audio-HVAC display panel connector B
(16P).
8. Check for continuity between the No. 10 and No. 11
terminals audio-HVAC display panel connector B
(16P) and body g r o u n d individually.

Is there
continuity?
YES—Repair any short t o body g r o u n d in the
wire(s) between the audio-HVAC display panel and
the recirculation control motor. •
N O — G o t o step 9.
