Ignition K e y S w i t c h T e s t Ignition K e y L i g h t T e s t
1. Remove the steering c o l u m n upper and lower
covers (see page 17-9).
2. Disconnect the 6P connector.
3. Check for continuity between the No. 1 and No. 2
terminals.
• There should be continuity w i t h the key in the
ignition switch.
• There should be no continuity w i t h the key
removed.

3. The LED should come on w h e n power is connected
to the No. 6 terminal and g r o u n d is connected to
No. 5 t e r m i n a l .
4. If the LED does not come o n , replace the ignition
switch.
4. If the continuity is not as specfied, replace the
ignition switch.
