Keyless/Power Door Locks/Security System
T r a n s m i t t e r P r o g r a m m i n g
Storing transmitter codes:
The codes of up to three transmitters can be stored into
the keyless receiver unit m e m o r y . (If a fourth code is
stored, the code w h i c h was input first w i l l be erased.)
NOTE: It is important to maintain the t i m e limits
between the steps. Make sure the doors, the hood and
the tailgate are closed.
1. Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
2. W i t h i n 1 to 4 sec, press the transmitter lock or
unlock button w i t h the transmitter aimed at the
keyless receiver in the p o w e r w i n d o w master
switch.
3. W i t h i n 1 to 4 sec, t u r n the ignition switch OFF.
4. W i t h i n 1 to 4 sec, t u r n the ignition switch ON (II).
5. W i t h i n 1 to 4 sec, press the transmitter lock or
unlock button w i t h the transmitter aimed at the
keyless receiver in the p o w e r w i n d o w master
switch.
6. W i t h i n 1 to 4 sec, turn the ignition switch OFF.
7. W i t h i n 1 to 4 sec, turn the ignition switch ON (II).
8. W i t h i n 1 t o 4 sec, press the transmitter lock or
unlock button w i t h the transmitter aimed at the
keyless receiver in the p o w e r w i n d o w master
switch.
9. W i t h i n 1 to 4 sec, turn the ignition switch OFF.
10. W i t h i n 4 sec, turn the ignition switch ON (II).
11. W i t h i n 1 to 4 sec, press the transmitter lock or
unlock button w i t h the transmitter a i m e d at the
keyless receiver in the power w i n d o w master
switch.
12. Confirm y o u can hear the sound of the door lock
actuators w i t h i n 1 to 4 sec, then push the
transmitter lock or unlock button again, or the code
w i l l not be stored.
13. W i t h i n 10 sec, aim the transmitters (up t o t w o
additional ones) w h o s e codes you w a n t to store at
the keyless receiver, and press the transmitter lock
or unlock buttons.
Confirm that y o u can hear the sound of the door
lock actuators after each transmitter code is stored.
14. Turn the ignition switch OFF, and pull out the key.
15. Confirm proper operation w i t h the transmitters.
