Differential C a r r i e r , F i n a l D r i v e n G e a r R e p l a c e m e n t
NOTE: Inspect and adjust the carrier bearing preload
w h e n e v e r the differential carrier is replaced.
1. Remove the final driven gear f r o m the differential
carrier.
NOTE: The final driven gear bolts has left-hand
threads.
2. Install the final driven gear on the differential
carrier in the direction s h o w n .
3. Tighten the bolts to 118 N-m (12.0 kgf-m, 86.8 Ibf-ft)
in a crisscross pattern in t w o or more steps.
