3. Starting at the rear, pull the door glass outer
weatherstrip (A) up at each portion w h e r e the inner
m o l d i n g (B) catches the inside edge of the w i n d o w
slot.
4. Pull the rear of the glass outer weatherstrip (A)
away f r o m the door, then release the front clip (B)
f r o m the m o u n t i n g hole in the door. If necessary,
pry the clip, then remove the weatherstrip.
Fastener Location

5. Install a new weatherstrip in the reverse order of
r e m o v a l , and p e r f o r m the power w i n d o w control
unit reset procedure (driver's) (see page 22-200).
Special Tools Required
KTC t r i m tool set SOJATP2014 *
• Available t h r o u g h the A m e r i c a n Honda Tool and
Equipment Program; call 888-424-6857
NOTE:
• If you remove the door outer m o l d i n g , replace it w i t h
a new one because it w i l l bend during removal.
• Put on gloves to protect your hands.
• Take care not to scratch the door.
• Use the appropriate tool f r o m the KTC t r i m tool set to
avoid damage w h e n prying c o m p o n e n t s .
1. Remove the m i r r o r (see page 20-28).
2. Remove the door outer m o l d i n g (A).
- 1 Pry the rear clip w i t h a t r i m tool.
- 2 W h i l e r e m o v i n g the upper edge of the door
outer m o l d i n g f r o m the edge of the sash, cut
the double-sided adhesive tapes (B) w i t h a
utility knife, then r e m o v e the m o l d i n g .

3. Scrape off the remaining double-sided adhesive
tape f r o m the sash, then clean the sash surface
w i t h a sponge d a m p e n e d in alcohol.
4. Install a new door outer m o l d i n g in the reverse
order of removal, and note these items:
• Push the clip and the adhesive portions into place
securely.
• Make sure the upper and lower sides of the
m o l d i n g are catching the edges of the sash
properly.
