Front Door Latch Replacement

7. Remove the lock cable protector (A) f r o m the latch
protector (B) by releasing the hook (C).
8. Install the latch in the reverse order of r e m o v a l , and
note these items:
• Make sure the actuator connectors are plugged in
properly and each rod is connected securely.
• Make sure the door locks and opens properly.
• W h e n reinstalling the door panel, make sure the
plastic cover is installed properly and sealed
around its outside perimeter to seal out water.
• Driver's: Perform the p o w e r w i n d o w control unit
reset procedure (see page 22-200).
Front Door Glass and Regulator
Replacement
NOTE: Put on gloves to protect y o u r hands.
1. Remove the door panel (see page 20-7).
2. Remove the screws, then remove the panel bracket
(A).

3. Remove the plastic cover (see page 20-3).
4. Carefully raise the glass (A) until you can see the
bolts, then remove t h e m . Carefully pull the glass
out t h r o u g h the w i n d o w slot. Take care not to drop
the glass inside the door.
