Temperature indicators blink
W h e n both temperature indicators blink it indicates a p r o b l e m in the climate control system, and the idle stop w i l l not
w o r k . Check the Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) and do the appropriate t r o u b l e s h o o t i n g .

How to Check for DTCs with the HDS
1. Make sure the ignition switch is OFF.
2. Connect the HDS to the data link connector (DLC) (A) located under the driver's side of the dashboard.
3. Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
4. Select DTCs in the BODY ELECTRICAL/CLIMATE CONTROL MODE m e n u of the HDS.
5. Check for DTCs. If any DTCs are indicated, w r i t e d o w n the DTCs, then go to the indicated DTC t r o u b l e s h o o t i n g . If
no DTCs are indicated, refer to s y m p t o m t r o u b l e s h o o t i n g .
NOTE: After troubleshooting, clear the DTCs w i t h the HDS.
