17. Reinstall the auxiliary electric water p u m p relay.
18. Disconnect audio-HVAC display panel connector B
(16P».
19. Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
20. Measure the voltage between audio-HVAC display
panel connector B (16P) t e r m i n a l No. 8 and body
g r o u n d .

Is there battery voltage?
Y E S — G o t o step 2 1 .
NO—Repair open in the w i r e between the auxiliary
electric water p u m p relay and the audio-HVAC
display panel. •
2 1 . Turn the ignition switch OFF.
22. Reconnect the auxiliary electric water p u m p 4P
connector.
23. Disconnect audio-HVAC display panel connector A
(22P).
24. Check for continuity between audio-HVAC display
panel connector B (16P) terminals No. 15 and
No. 16.

Is there continuity?
Y E S - G o t o step 25.
NO—Repair an open in the wire(s) to auxiliary
electric water p u m p signal line. •
25. Run the auxiliary electric water p u m p by selecting
the CLIMTE CONTROL SELF TEST Menu f r o m the
HDS.
26. Check the auxiliary electric water p u m p operation
by touching it w i t h a flat-tip screw driver.
Does the auxiliary electric water pump run?
YES—Substitute a k n o w n - g o o d audio-HVAC
display panel, and recheck. If the s y m p t o m /
indication goes away, replace the original audio-
HVAC display p a n e l . •
NO—Replace the auxiliary electric water p u m p . B
