8. Clear the DTC using the HDS (see page 19-35).
9. Disconnect the HDS f r o m the 16P DLC.
10. Turn the ignition switch OFF, then turn it ON (II)
again.
11. Test-drive the vehicle.
Is DTC 83 indicated and no PCM's DTC?
Y E S — R e p l a c e the ABS/TCS modulator-control unit
(see page 1 9 - 7 9 ) . •
NO—The system is OK at this t i m e . •
DTC 84: TCS Pressure Sensor Neutral
Position
1. Clear the DTC using the HDS (see page 19-35).
2. Disconnect the HDS f r o m the 16PDLC.
3. Turn the ignition switch OFF, then t u r n it ON (II)
again.
4. Test-drive the vehicle.
Does the TCS indicator come on, and is DTC 84
indicated?
Y E S — G o to step 5.
NO—The system is OK at this t i m e . •
5. Do the TCS pressure sensor neutral position
memorization (see page 19-78).
6. Clear the DTC using the HDS (see page 19-35).
7. Disconnect the HDS f r o m the 16P DLC.
8. Turn the ignition switch OFF, then turn it ON (II)
again.
9. Test-drive the vehicle.
Does the TCS indicator come on, and is DTC 84
indicated?
Y E S — C h e c k for loose t e r m i n a l s in the ABS/TCS
control unit 47P connector. If no loose terminals are
f o u n d , replace the ABS/TCS modulator-control unit
(see page 1 9 - 7 9 ) . •
NO—The system is OK at this t i m e . •
