T r a i l i n g A r m R e m o v a l / I n s t a l l a t i o n
L e a d i n g A r m R e p l a c e m e n t
1. Raise the rear of the vehicle, and support it w i t h
safety stands in the proper locations (see page 1-7).
2. Remove the rear w h e e l .
3. Remove the parking brake cable bracket (A) f r o m
the trailing arm (B).

4. Remove the m o u n t i n g bolts (C), and remove the
trailing a r m .
5. Install the trailing arm in the reverse order of
removal, and note these items:
• Tighten all m o u n t i n g hardware to the specified
torque values.
• Before installing the w h e e l , clean the mating
surface on the brake disc and inside of the w h e e l .
• Check the wheel alignment, and adjusting it if
necessary (see page 18-7).

3. Remove the m o u n t i n g bolts, and remove the
leading a r m (A).

4. Install the leading a r m in the reverse order of
removal, and note these items:
• Tighten all m o u n t i n g hardware to the specified
torque values.
• Before installing the w h e e l , clean the mating
surface on the brake disc and inside of the wheel
• Check the wheel alignment, and adjust it if
necessary (see page 18-7).
