R e s e t t i n g t h e P o w e r W i n d o w C o n t r o l U n i t
Resetting t h e p o w e r w i n d o w is required w h e n any of t h e f o l l o w i n g have been removed or
repaired
• Power w i n d o w regulator • W i n d o w run channel
• Power w i n d o w m o t o r • Door glass
• Battery disconnected
Using t h e HDS
1. Connect the Honda Diagnostic System (HDS) to the vehicle's DLC.
2. Turn the ignition switch ON (II), then enter the vehicle's VIN and mileage at the prompts.
3. Select Body Electrical f r o m the System Selection m e n u .
4. From the Body Electrical System Select m e n u , select Power W i n d o w s .
5. From the Mode m e n u , select Adjustments.
6. From the Adjustment m e n u , select W i n d o w P Reset.
7. Follow the prompts on the screen.
8. Confirm that the power w i n d o w master switch is reset by using the driver's w i n d o w A U T O UP and DOWN
function.
