Rear Window Replacement (cont'd)
12. Attach the upper rubber dams (A), side rubber dam
(B), lower rubber dam (C), clips (D), and fasteners
(E) w i t h adhesive tape to the inside face of the rear
w i n d o w (F) as s h o w n :
• First attach the upper rubber d a m , then attach the
side rubber dams around the edge of the rear
w i n d o w . Be sure top of the side rubber d a m
contacts w i t h bottom of the upper rubber d a m . If
necessary, cut the rubber d a m .
• Be sure the side rubber d a m , clips, and fasteners
line up w i t h the alignment marks (G).
• Be careful not to touch the w i n d s h i e l d w h e r e
adhesive w i l l be applied.
Rubber dams adhesive tape:
Thickness 0.16 mm (0.0063 in.)
Width 4 mm (0.16 in.)
Clips adhesive tape:
Thickness 0.4 mm (0.016 in.)
Width 10 mm (0.39 in.)
Fasteners adhesive tape:
Thickness 0.8 mm (0.03 in.)
Width 7 mm (0.28 in.)

13. A p p l y primer to the edge of the rear w i n d o w (A)
w h e r e the m o l d i n g adhesive tape w i l l be attached
as s h o w n . Attach the m o l d i n g (B) w i t h adhesive
tape (C) to the lower edge of the rear w i n d o w :
• Be sure both ends of the m o l d i n g line up w i t h the
alignment marks (D) of the rear w i n d o w ,
• After installing the m o l d i n g , cut the ends (E) of
the m o l d i n g as s h o w n .
• Be careful not to touch the w i n d s h i e l d where
adhesive w i l l be applied.
Molding adhesive tape:
Thickness 0.2 mm (0.0079 in.)
Width 4 mm (0.16 in.)
