Stabilizer Link Replacement
1. Raise the front of the vehicle, and support it w i t h
safety stands in the proper locations (see page 1-7).
2. Remove the f r o n t wheels.
3. Remove the self-locking nut (A) and flange nut (B)
w h i l e holding the respective joint pin (C) w i t h a hex
w r e n c h (D), and remove the stabilizer link (E).

4. Install the stabilizer link (A) on the stabilizer bar (B)
and lower a r m (C) w i t h the joint pins set at the
center of their range of the m o v e m e n t .
NOTE: The left stabilizer link has a y e l l o w paint
mark (D), w h i l e the right stabilizer link has a w h i t e
paint mark.

6. Place the floor jack under the lower a r m , and raise
the suspension to load it w i t h the vehicle's weight.
NOTICE I
Do not place the jack against the ball joint pin
of the knuckle.
7. Tighten the new self-locking nut (A) and flange nut
(B) to the specified torque values w h i l e holding the
respective joint pin (C) w i t h a hex w r e n c h (D).
8. After 5 minutes of d r i v i n g , tighten the self-locking
nut again to the specified torque value.
5. Install a new self-locking nut and flange nut, and
lightly tighten t h e m .
NOTE: Use a new self-locking nut on reassembly.
