F r o n t S e a t R e m o v a l / I n s t a l l a t i o n

E q u i p m e n t Program; call 888-424-6857
SRS components are located in this area. Review the
SRS c o m p o n e n t locations (see page 24-11) and the
precautions and procedures (see page 24-13) before
p e r f o r m i n g repairs or service.
NOTE
• Put on gloves to protect y o u r hands.
• W h e n prying w i t h a flat-tip screwdriver, w r a p it w i t h
protective tape to prevent damage.
• Take care not to scratch the body or tear the seat
covers.
• Use the appropriate tool f r o m the KTC t r i m tool set to
avoid damage w h e n prying c o m p o n e n t s .
1. Make sure you have the anti-theft codes for the
radio and the navigation s y s t e m , and then write
d o w n the audio presets.
2. Tilt the steering wheel all the w a y up and telescope
it all the w a y in.
3. Slide the seat all the w a y f o r w a r d , then remove the
seat track end covers (A) f r o m the back of both seat
tracks.

4. Slide the seat about half w a y to the rear so y o u can
access the seat m o u n t i n g bolts. If you remove the
8-way power seat, fully raise the seat.
5. Disconnect the negative cable f r o m the battery, and
w a i t at least 3 minutes before r e m o v i n g the seat.
6. Remove the bolts securing the front seat (A).
