13. Check for continuity between the appropriate
wheel sensor + B and GND terminals of the A B S /
TCS control unit 47P connector (see table), then
recheck for continuity between the same terminals
after reversing the positive tester probe and
negative tester probe.

Is there continuity in both directions?
YES—Go to step 14.
NO—Check for a loose ABS/TCS control unit 47P
connector. If necessary, substitute a known-good
ABS/TCS modulator-control unit, and recheck. •
14. Substitute a k n o w n - g o o d wheel sensor for the
appropriate wheel sensor (see table).

15. Clear the DTC using the HDS (see page 19-35).
16. Disconnect the HDS f r o m the 16PDLC.
17. Turn the ignition switch OFF, then t u r n it ON (II)
again. Test-drive the vehicle at speeds above
19 m p h (30 km/h).
Does the ABS indicator come on?
YES—Check f o r a loose ABS/TCS control unit 47P
connector. If necessary, substitute a known-good
ABS/TCS modulator-control unit, and recheck. •
NO—Replace the original w h e e l sensor (see page
19-82). •
