torque sensor 3P connector t e r m i n a l s No. 1 and
No. 2, and between t e r m i n a l s No. 2 and No. 3.

Is the resistance between 12— 14 Q, (at 68 °F
(20 °C))?
Y E S — T h e system is OK at this time. Check for
loose terminals and poor connections at the torque
sensor and the EPS control unit. If necessary,
substitute a k n o w n - g o o d EPS control unit and
recheck. •
NO—Replace the torque sensor (see page 17-64). •
NO—Repair open in the w i r e between the
appropriate torque sensor and EPS control unit. •
