NOTE:
• Perform this diagnosis if any of the control units are
not c o m m u n i c a t i n g (Not Available displayed in the
HDS.) as found by the B-CAN system Diagnosis Test
Mode A.
• A l w a y s cycle the ignition switch w i t h i n 3 seconds
w h e n p r o m p t e d in the DTC t r o u b l e s h o o t i n g
procedures.
1. Using the Honda Diagnostic System (HDS), select
the system that has the s y m p t o m f r o m the BODY
ELECTRICAL M E N U .
2. Select DTCs, and then check for loss of
c o m m u n i c a t i o n DTCs.
Are loss of communication DTCs indicated?
Y E S — G o t o step 3.
NO—Replace the M I C U . B
3. Perform the input test for the unit not
c o m m u n i c a t i n g w i t h the HDS.
