Interior Lights
T r u n k L i g h t T e s t / R e p l a c e m e n t
T r u n k L i d L a t c h S w i t c h T e s t
1. Open the trunk lid.
2. Carefully pry out the trunk light (A).
Trunk Light: 5 W
3. Disconnect the 2P connector (B) f r o m the light.
4. Check for continuity between the No. 1 ( + ) and
No. 2 ( —) terminals. There should be continuity. If
there is no continuity, check the bulb (C). If the
bulb(s) is OK, replace the trunk light.
1. Open the trunk lid.
2. Disconnect the 3P connector (A) f r o m the t r u n k lid
latch (B).
3. Check for continuity between the No. 2 and No. 3
terminals.
• There should be continuity w i t h the trunk lid latch
unlatched (trunk open).
• There should be no continuity w i t h the trunk lid
latch latched (trunk closed).
4. If the continuity is not as specified, replace the
trunk lid latch switch.
