9. Fit the boot ends (A) onto the driveshaft (B) and
outboard joint (C).

10. Close the ear portion (A) of the band w i t h
c o m m e r c i a l l y available boot band pincers Kent-
Moore J-35910 or equivalent (B).

11. Check the clearance between the closed ear portion
of the band. If the clearance is not w i t h i n the
specifications s h o w n , close the ear portion of the
band tighter.

mm (0.12 in.) MAX.
12. Repeat steps 10 and 11 for the band on the other
end of the boot.
