Make these input tests at the fuse/relay box.
• If any test indicates a p r o b l e m , find and correct the cause, then recheck the system.
• If all the input tests prove OK, the turn signal/hazard relay must be faulty; replace it.

There should be continuity.
• Poor g r o u n d (G501, G601)
• Faulty under-dash fuse/relay
box
• A n open in the w i r e
2 Connect the No. 6
terminal to the No. 2
terminal w i t h a j u m p e r
wire.
Check the turn signal lights
operation:
The left turn signal lights should
c o m e on.
• Blown bulb
• Poor g r o u n d (G301, G701)
• A n open in the w i r e
3 Connect the No. 6
terminal to the No. 3
terminal w i t h a j u m p e r
wire.
Check the turn signal lights
operation:
The right turn signal lights should
come on.
• Blown bulb
• Poor g r o u n d (G201, G701 or
G702)
• A n open in the w i r e

Ignition switch ON (II)
and turn signal switch in
Left position.
Check for voltage to g r o u n d :
There should be about 10 V.
• Poor g r o u n d (G501, G601)
• Faulty turn signal switch
• Faulty under-dash fuse/relay
box
• A n open in the w i r e
• Faulty c o m b i n a t i o n switch
control unit*
• Faulty MICU*
