4 cyl. petrol engine (1.8 l and 2.0 l with direct injection, 4 V, exhaust gas turbocharger, timing chain,
Fitting
– If the union on the high-pressure pump has been detached,
renew union.
– Fit intake manifold on cylinder head and tighten bracket -A- for
electrical connectors.
– Screw on nuts -A- hand-tight.
– Tighten bolts -arrows- using bit - T10347- evenly from the in‐
side to the outside.
– Continue installation in reverse order.

Removing
– Remove engine cover

– Remove air filter housing
– Free coolant hose -2-.
– Remove bolts -arrows-.
– Unclip front side of the air guide -1- by unlocking the retaining
tabs arrows. Remove in -direction of arrow-.
– Remove noise insulation ⇒ General body repairs, exterior;
