Removing and installing fuel rail

Note
In this section, the work procedure for direct injection engines is
described.
Removing
Note
All cable ties must be installed in their same place again.
– Now remove the intake manifold
– Disconnect electrical connector -1- on fuel pressure sender -
G247- .
– Remove bolts -arrows-.
– Move clear wiring duct -2- at fuel rail, and pull fuel rail off in‐
jectors.
Note
If injectors remain inserted in the fuel rail, disconnect the relevant
connector.
Fitting
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:
– Fit extraction hose
