1.5 Removing and installing engine speed
sensor - G28-
Removing
– Remove noise insulation ⇒ General body repairs, exterior;
Rep. gr. 66 ; Noise insulation; Assembly overview - noise in‐
sulation .
– Free coolant hose -3-.
– Pull connector -1- off charge air pressure sender - G31- .
– Remove bolts -arrows-.
– Release hose clip -2- on air hose and pull air hose off throttle
valve module - GX3- .
– Remove air hose downwards.
– Unplug electrical connector -1- at engine speed sender - G28-
-2-.
– Unscrew the securing bolt -arrow-.
Fitting
Install in reverse order:
– Install air hose.
– Remove noise insulation ⇒ General body repairs, exterior;
Rep. gr. 66 ; Noise insulation; Assembly overview - noise in‐
sulation .
