Removing
Note
Injectors must only be installed when the engine is cold.
– Removing fuel rail
⇒ page 345
– If the injectors remain in the fuel rail, carefully pull the injectors
out of the fuel rail.
Remove injectors if they remain in cylinder head.
– Cover open intake ports with a clean cloth.
– Remove support ring -5- from injector -2-.
– Separate connector from injector that is to be removed, and
pull off support ring.
