Starting

The correct procedure for engine start up and engine shut down, to prolong engine serviceability is as
follows:
•
Always switch the master switch on before the ignition switch.
• Start-up procedure: The Engine MUST be idled for at least 2 minutes before revving/moving off.
•
Shut down procedure: The Engine MUST be left to idle for 2-3 minutes before shutting down.
•
Switch off the ignition switch, and leave the master switch on to power the turbo circulation pump
which is controlled by the ECU (running time is around 15 minutes).
