Test requirements
• Oil level OK
• Minimum temperature of engine oil 80 °C (the radiator fan
must have started once).
Note
The oil pump is regulated and has 2 pressure levels. The
♦
pressure levels are checked subsequently.
During the run-in period or emergency running mode of the
♦
engine the oil pump operates only at high pressure level.
The oil pressure depends on the engine oil temperature. At an
♦
engine oil temperature of 80°C, the approximate middle value
must be reached.
