– Loosen bolt connections -arrow- on clamp.
– Push exhaust system towards front of vehicle until preloading
at mounting for exhaust pipe -a- = 5 mm.

Aligning tailpipes

Vehicles with 1.8 ltr. engine:
Vehicles with 2.0 ltr. engine:
– Adjust the rear silencer so that an even gap is formed between
bumper cut-out and exhaust pipes.
• -a- = -a-
– Unfasten rear silencer mounting to align tailpipes.

Check exhaust system for leaks

– Start engine and allow to run at idling speed.
– Plug tailpipes during leak test (e.g. with cloth or plugs).
