DIAGNOSE CARD
Syntax
DIAGNOSE CARD={ slot-list | ACTCFC | INACTCFC | ALL }
{ INSERVICE | OUTOFSERVICE }
The DIAGNOSE CARD command runs a series of diagnostic tests on the specified card

or list of cards. Currently, out-of-service diagnostics are the only diagnostics supported
For all service cards and the inactive CFC, the cardmust be in the administratively
DOWN for the diagnostics torun (See DISABLE CARD).
The following table gives the range of values for each option that can be specified with

Description
Specifies the slot number for the card for which to dis-
play diagnostics.
slot-list - list of specific cards to be tested (single slot,
comma-separated list of slots, dash range of slots, com-
bination of dash and comma-separated slots)
For the active CFC card, the diagnos-
ACTCFC -
tics are not run immediately, but are instead
scheduled to run during the next restart of the
active CFC. The restart is requested using the
RESTART CARD command.
INACTCFC - As with Line Cards, the INACTCFC must
have an Operational state of DOWN.
ALL - Not supported
INSERVICE - In service cards (Admin and Operational
state of UP) - Not supported
OUTOFSERVICE - Out-of-service cards (Operational
state of DOWN)
