Introduction
The goal of Fault Management system is to produce alarms that notify the user that a component of the
system has a fault, and to repair the fault the component longer functions and so must be fixed/replaced.
Although the goals are different, the conditions that activate each system are the same, and are labeled defects,
a condition in which there is a limited interruption of the interface to perform its function.

7.5.1.2 RMON Ethernet Statistics

The SBx3112 module collects RMON statistics for Ethernet interfaces only. These are described in
TABLE 7-13
