RESET STP
Syntax
RESET STP [ { INSTANCE={ stpname | mstid | MAIN | ALL } | LEARN-
CISCODIGEST } ]
Resets the counters for the default STP instance and forces the spanning tree algorithm
Description
to restart. This causes this bridge to temporarily assume the role of "root bridge" and
declare all its ports as "designated ports", as would happen when the bridge is powered
cycled or rebooted.
