Option Description
SEVERITY Indicates the severity level to filter the display with.
Severity indicates the degree of service impact associ-
ated with an alarm condition. The following severities
are defined:
- CRITICAL: A critical alarm is used to indicate that a
severe, service-affecting condition has occurred and
that immediate corrective action is imperative.
- MAJOR: A major alarm is used to indicate a serious
disruption of service or the malfunctioning or failure of
important circuits. These troubles require immediate
attention and response to restore or maintain system
capability. The urgency is less than critical situations
because of lesser immediate or impending effect on ser-
vice or system performance.
- MINOR: Minor alarms are used for troubles that do
not have serious effect on service to customers or for
troubles that do not effect essential system operation.
- INFO: Represents an informational message. No
explicit action is required.
