CREATE DHCPRELAY
Syntax

MAT={ AUTO | TR101DEFAULT } ]
Creates a DHCP Relay instance and its attributes. Can associate with a VLAN ID. The

command can accommodate TR101 and non-TR101 formats. DHCP Relay or DHCP
Snooping is controlled with the MODE parameter. The AGENT, MODE, SERVER, and
VLAN attributes can be defined with the SET DCHPRELAY INSTANCE command as
well. In release 10.0, both binary and text formats (TR-101) are supported.

DHCPRELAY
dhcpname - the name of the DHCP instance
AGENT
remote-id - the DHCP Relay agent's remote ID, which is
REMOTEID
used DHCP servers to identify the relay agent.
SHELFID - the shelf identifier for the DHCP relay agent.
IFDESCRIPTION - interface description
IFREMOTEID - interface remote ID
DEFAULT - Shelf MAC
SHELFID
shelf-id - the user-specified shelf identifier for the DHCP
relay agent
DEFAULT - Shelf MAC
MODE
RELAY - indicates the relay agent is in relay mode
SNOOPING - indicates the relay agent is in snooping
mode; the relay agent updates the option 82 portion of
client messages without forwarding to DHCP servers
SERVER
ipaddress-list - the list of IP addresses being sent to the
DCHP server by the relay agent separated by a comma
NONE -
VLAN
vlanname-list - list of specific VLAN(s) separated by a
comma
vid-range - VLAN range of IDs
ALL - all VLANs
