5.6.4 Replacing the pulley on the ball screw lower position
Action
Refit the mechanical stopper to the ball screw at
30.5 mm position to the lower of the ball screw.
Note
For robots with protection class IP54 (option 3350-
540)
For robots with protection type Clean Room (op-
tion 3351-1)
For IRB 910INV-3/0.35, refit the mechanical stop-
per to the ball screw at 68 mm position to the
lower of the ball screw.
For IRB 910INV-6/0.55, refit the mechanical stop-
per to the ball screw at 75.8 mm position to the
lower of the ball screw.
Tip
Make sure that the limit block opening gap is
aligned with the ball screw origin point.
CAUTION
If the ball screw nut or ball screw spline nut go
out of the screw shaft, the ball screw is destroyed.
Be careful when you do any work that may cause
this.
Note
Be careful with the orientation of the mechanical
stopper.
The flat side is on the upper side.
