REP 11.2 Communication Board Replacement

PARTS LIST ON PL 7.1
Use this procedure to remove and install the Comm Board.
WARNING
Do not perform repair activities with the power on or electrical power
supplied to the machine. Some machine components contain
dangerous electrical voltages that can result in electrical shock and
possible serious injury. See Section 0, page vi for other languages.
Removal Procedure
1. Switch power OFF to eWire.
2. Disconnect the Power Cord.
3. Do REP 1.5 Back Cover Replacement
4. Disconnect the Connectors from the Comm Board.
5. Remove the M3 Screws (4) and remove the old Comm Board.
Repairs/Adjustments
to remove the Back Cover.
Installation Procedure
1. Insert the new Comm Board into the connector on the Main Control
Board.
2. Secure the Comm board by tightening the M3 Screws (4).
3. Re-Connect the Connectors to the new Comm Board.
4. Do REP 1.5 Back Cover Replacement
5. Connect the Power Cord.
6. Power ON the eWire.
