REP 2.3 Drive Roller Bearing Replacement

PARTS LIST ON PL 5.5
Do the following to replace the Drive Roller Bearings
Removal Procedure
1. Switch power OFF to eWire.
2. Disconnect the Power Cord.
3. Do REP 1.1 Top Cover Replacement
4. Locate the Flange Ball Bearing.
5. For Bearings on front of machine, remove the E-Ring and Washer.
6. For Bearings on rear of machine, do
2.9 (Nips N10 – N15) to remove the Belt from the appropriate Drive
Roller Shaft.
7. For Bearings on rear of machine, do REP 2.7
Replacement to remove the Pulley from the appropriate Drive Roller
Shaft.
8. Remove the Flange Ball Bearing.
Repairs/Adjustments
to remove the Top Cover.
Flange
Bearing
e-Ring
Washer
REP 2.8 (Nips N1 – N3) or REP
Belt Drive Timing Pulley
Installation Procedure
1. Place the new Flange Ball Bearing in position.
2. For Bearings on front of machine, re-install the washer and E-Ring.
3. For Bearings on rear of machine, reverse steps in Removal
Procedure to re-install the Belt and Pulley.
4. If the Timing Belt was replaced, double check the belt tension. Adjust
tension using the Belt Tensioner if needed. Refer to PL 5.4.
5. Connect the Power Cord.
6. Power ON the eWire.
