ANTI-LOCK BRAKING SYSTEM
Braking computer: Removal - Refitting
REFITTING
I - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
a Fit the new ABS computer taking care not to twist
the connection fork (5) between the hydraulic pump
and the computer.
a Refit the ABS computer bolts.
a Torque tighten the ABS computer bolts (8 Nm).
II - FINAL OPERATION.
a Refit the hydraulic unit (see 38C, Anti-lock braking
system, Hydraulic brake unit: Removal - Refit-
ting, page 38C-4) .
a Remove the pedal press.
a Connect the battery (see Battery: Removal - Refit-
ting) (MR 415, 80A, Battery).
a Bleed the brake circuit (see 30A, General informa-
tion, Braking circuit: Bleed, page 30A-4) .
a Configure the brake computer, apply the after repair
procedure using the Diagnostic tool :
- connect the Diagnostic tool,
- select the brake computer,
- go to repair mode,
- apply the "After repair procedure".
a It is essential to confirm the repair with a road test
and a check using the Diagnostic tool.
