MECHANICAL COMPONENT CONTROLS
Gear control unit: Removal - Refitting
AJ0, and LEFT-HAND DRIVE
II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART
CONCERNED
a Unlock the clip (7) .
a Unlock the clip (8) .
a Unclip the wiring on the control unit at (9) .
a Disconnect the connector (10) from the gear control

unit.
a Remove:
- the gear control unit nuts (11) ,
- the gear control unit.
REFITTING
I - REFITTING PREPARATION OPERATION
a The external control unit lever and the multifunction
switch on the gearbox must be in position D to allow
the control cables to be anchored on the gearbox.
