Fan assembly: Removal - Refitting
RIGHT-HAND DRIVE
II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART
CONCERNED
a Disconnect the blower unit connector.
a Unclip the motor-driven fan assembly electrical wir-
ing at (4) .
a Remove:
- the bolt (5) from the motor-driven fan assembly,
- the blower unit with the refrigerant pipe.
REFITTING
I - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
a Refit the blower unit.
a Clip the electrical wiring to the motor-driven fan as-
sembly.
a Connect the connector to the motor-driven fan as-
sembly.
II - FINAL OPERATION.
a
Note:
T o avoid causing mechanical damage to the
blower unit, ensure that the ends of the refriger-
ant pipe are inserted correctly.
a Remove the motor-driven fan assembly with the re-
frigerant pipe.
HEATING
a Connect the refrigerant pipe to the distribution unit.
a Refit the glovebox mounting.
a Refit the glovebox refrigerant pipe to its mounting.
a Refit the glovebox (see Glovebox: Removal - Refit-
ting) (57A, Interior equipment).
a Connect the battery (see Battery: Removal - Refit-
ting) (80A, Battery).
a Apply the after repair procedure using the Diagnos-
tic tool :
- connect the Diagnostic tool,
- select "Climate control computer",
- go to repair mode,
- display the "Before/after repair procedure" for the
selected computer,
- select "Passenger compartment ventilation fan as-
sembly" in the "List of components controlled by
this computer" section,
- carry out the operations described in the "After re-

pair procedure" section.
