Is there continuity?
Y E S — G o t o step 14.
NO—Repair open in the w i r e between the V phase
m o t o r current sensor and the M C M (A29), then go
to step 4 1 .
14. Reconnect M C M connector A (31P).
15. Connect the V phase m o t o r current sensor 3P
connector terminals No. 1 and No. 3 w i t h a j u m p e r
w i r e .

16. Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
17. Check the V PHASE MOTOR CURRENT SENSOR in
the DATA LIST w i t h the HDS.
Is about 0.15 V or less indicated?
Y E S — G o t o step 47.
NO—Replace the V phase m o t o r current sensor
(see page 12-143), then go to step 4 1 .
18. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
19. Disconnect M C M connector A (31P).
20. Check for continuity between V phase m o t o r
current sensor 3P connector terminal No. 1 and
M C M connector terminal A17.

Is there continuity?
Y E S — G o t o step 47.
NO—Repair open in the w i r e between the V phase
motor current sensor and the M C M (A17), then go
to step 4 1 .
21. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
22. Turn the battery module switch OFF (see page 12-4).
23. Remove the IPU lid (see page 12-140).
24. Disconnect the U phase m o t o r current sensor 3P
connector.
25. Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
26. Reset the M C M (see page 12-6).
27. Check for T e m p o r a r y DTCs or DTCs w i t h the HDS.
Are DTC P0A5E, P0A61 and P0A64 indicated at
the same time?
Y E S — G o t o step 28.
NO—Replace the U phase m o t o r current sensor
(see page 12-143), then go to step 4 1 .
28. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
29. Disconnect the V phase m o t o r current sensor 3P
connector.
