DTC P1569 (70): Battery Cell Temperature
Signal Circuit Malfunction
1. Turn the Ignition switch ON (II).
2. Check the PTC in the DATA LIST w i t h the HDS.
Is about 0.2 V or less indicated?
Y E S — G o t o step 3.
NO—Intermittent failure, system is OK at this time.
Check for poor connections or loose terminals at
the battery module and the M C M . •
3. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
4. Turn the battery m o d u l e switch OFF (see page 12-4).
5. Remove the IPU lid (see page 12-140).
6. Disconnect M C M connector A (31P).
7. Disconnect the battery m o d u l e 6P connector.
8. Check for continuity between M C M connector
terminal A20 and battery m o d u l e 6P connector
terminal No. 1.

Y E S — G o t o step 9.
NO—Repair open in the w i r e between the battery
m o d u l e and the M C M (A20), then go to step 16.
9. Check for continuity between M C M connector
terminal A30 and battery m o d u l e 6P connector
terminal No. 2.

10. Check for continuity between M C M connector
terminal A20 and body g r o u n d .

YES—Repair short in the w i r e between the battery
module and the M C M (A20), then go to step 16.
N O — G o t o step 11.
