Installing the Packed Columns Support Kit

This section provides instructions for installing the support kit for packed columns
PN 19070124 into the oven of the TRACE 1600/1610 GC.
Figure 443 shows the support for packed columns.

 To install the support for packed column kit
1. Put the GC in standby condition.
2. Cool the oven, injectors and detectors to room temperature.
3. Open the front door of the GC.
4. Locate the two slots on the upper section of the oven baffle and the fixing hole on the
ceiling of the oven. See
