Updating HMI Software From USB Stick

This section contains instructions for updating the TRACE 1610 HMI software using a
USB stick.
IMPORTANT The upgrade must be performed by authorized and trained Thermo Fisher
Scientific technical personnel.
 To update the HMI Software
1. Copy HMI SW XX.XX.XX.ZIP to the folder on your PC with the last HMI software
version received from Thermo Fisher Scientific GC-GC/MS Customer Support.
2. Unzip the folder and extract the files.
IMPORTANT The Trace1610.exe file and the Languages folder are fundamental
components always present in the list. The other files might change from one software
version to the next.

3. Copy all the files in the root of the USB stick.
4. Insert the USB stick into the USB port on the left side of the touch screen.
