Display Outside Party Name: (Inter-Tel phones only) If this flag is enabled, the phone
user can toggle the outside party name and number when connected to a CO call with
outside party information. The phone user enters the Display Outside Party Name On/
Off feature code (379). In addition, the enhanced ring-in displays will provide the user
with more information such as both Caller ID [CLIP] name and number if available, or
tell the user if a Caller ID [CLIP] number is blocked or out-of-area. This is a keyset-
only station flag. In the default state, this flag is enabled. See
about advanced ring-in display.
DKTS Alternate Transient Display Timer: (Inter-Tel phones only) This flag, if
enabled, allows the length of time that transient displays will remain visible to be con-
trolled by the "DKTS Alternate Transient Display" timer. If this flag is disabled, tran-
sient displays will remain visible for 5 seconds. In the default state, it is disabled.
Do-Not-Disturb Allowed: This option designates whether the station can be placed in
do-not-disturb. In the default state, it is enabled.
Do-Not-Disturb Override: (Inter-Tel phones only) The station can be given do-not-dis-
turb override privilege that allows the user to place an intercom call to a station in do-
not-disturb. In the default state, it is disabled.
Expanded CO Call Information On Displays: (Inter-Tel phones only) This flag deter-
mines whether call information (trunk name or caller information) appears on the
phone. If it is enabled, the Outside Call Party Information Has Priority flag (described
on the next page) determines what appears. If it is disabled, the programmed trunk user-
name will appear on the display. In the default state, this flag is enabled.
Extended Ring Cadence: (Single-line station only) Extended ring cadence can be
enabled or disabled. The extended setting lengthens the duration of the ring signal to
meet the requirements of OPX and/or repeater applications. Because some single-line
devices require an extended ring cadence to receive caller ID [CLIP] information, you
must first enable the Extended Ring Cadence flag to configure caller ID [CLIP] for IC
calls. Without the Extended Ring Cadence set to Yes, the Caller ID - IC flag cannot be
set. The default setting is disabled. (See also FEATURES,
Handsfree On/Off: (Inter-Tel phones only) The station can be programmed to receive
intercom calls handsfree, or handsfree answering can be disabled. (This can also be pro-
grammed at the phone.) In the default state, handsfree answering is enabled.
NOTE:
Headset Connect Tone: Some headsets have a power-saver mode that disables the
headphone after a period of silence. To prevent these headsets from missing portions of
incoming calls, enabling this flag allows the phone to generate a tone that activates the
headset before connecting to an incoming call. In the default state, it is disabled.
Headset On/Off: (Inter-Tel phones only) If a headset will be used on the phone, it can
be enabled through programming or by the phone user. In the default state, it is dis-
abled.
Hunt Group Remove/Replace: The station Hunt Group Remove/Replace feature can
be programmed using this window or using the feature code at the station. In the default
state, this feature is set for replace which allows the station to receive hunt group calls.
Hunt Group Camp-On Audio Indications: The tone that signals a hunt group mem-
ber when a call has camped on to the hunt group can be enabled or disabled. (However,
the camp-on display and lamp in the CALL or trunk buttons cannot be disabled.) In the
default state, the tones are enabled.
