Lit green to indicate the card is online.
Solidly lit red to indicate the database is in the default state. If flash-
ing slowly, the backup database is being saved. If flashing rapidly,
the local database is being restored.
Lit yellow to indicate a system alarm. If flashing, the software license
is invalid (see for details about how this affects the system).
Solidly lit yellow to indicate that the modem is connected and in sync
with the connected device. If flashing, the modem is currently syn-
chronizing with the connected device.
Lit green to indicate the network connection is operating at 100
Mbps. If not lit, the network connection is operating at 10 Mbps.
Lit green to indicate the network is running in full-duplex mode.
Lit yellow to indicate that two or more devices have attempted to
send data over the same connection while in half-duplex mode.
Lit green to indicate the IP connection is currently transmitting to the
network.
Lit red to indicate the battery is missing or cannot be charged. If unlit,
the battery is charged (or charging) and functioning.
Lit green to indicate a valid network connection.
Lit green to indicate that the card is transmitting data to the network.
NOTE:
The faceplate also indicates LINK and SYNC LEDs at the
top of the card. These LEDs are reserved for future use.
Lit green to show that the main processor is operating properly. If
flashing at least once every five seconds, see
page 7-3
for troubleshooting procedures. If unlit, check for improper
connection (e.g., cabling, card seating, power supply, etc.); if still un
lit, try another card.
If flashing slower than once every five seconds, remove the battery
back-up jumper strap, turn off the system power for thirty seconds,
replace the strap, and turn the power back on. If still flashing, see
paragraph 3.2
Lit red when a database error has caused the system to return to
default values. When the system is first installed, the LED will remain
lit until the clock is initialized through Database (DB) Programming
(or other DB Programming is performed).
If a CPU020/PCM software upload fails while in progress (see
page
3-173), the Database Error (red) and Minor Alarm (yellow)
LEDs blink rapidly (ten times per second) and the PC displays the
reason for the failure.
